Where to find toko ni no kuni
Should you find one, they are worth just over EXP apiece, more than any other monster except the final boss! Hard to pass up, right? Use the same tactics as you do with Toko, ensure that all party members will attack your target, and, as soon as you start the battle call for an All-Out Attack.
Also, like Toko, it may not be good idea to hunt them as soon as you are capable of reaching them. The other enemies in the area are quite strong at that stage and it is best to wait until you have gathered all three of the magic stones and are able to enter Perdida itself. That way, you can learn the Veil spell to make your hunting easier. With Veil in hand or book , you can march up and down the valley safely until you see the Tokotoko without worrying about the other monsters in the area.
Until then, you may be better off sticking to Ugly Duckling Isle. The final form of Toko encountered in the wild is a real doozy. These little fellows offer up a whopping 24, EXP a pop! That's nearly three times the amount given up by the game's final boss and far easier to boot!
The only place that you can find Tokotocold is in the Ivory tower. On the second floor of the tower, just before the final teleporter is a large, C-shaped hallway.
This is the one and only place in the entire game where you can find these elusive creatures. Fortunately there is a waystone very close by. Even still, be prepared to spend several minutes running up and down the hallway before finding one even while using Veil to avoid other encounters! Use the same tactics as the other Tokos to bring them down and watch as your entire party gains two or more levels each time!
Your level should be in the 50s, at the very least, to challenge the Ivory Tower. Grinding a bit to get there is worth the effort, as Tokocolds are worth a whopping 24, experience, by far the most you'll get from any enemy in the game more even than you get from the Guardian of Worlds, and it's a super boss.
The other two Tokos are the Docotoko, a third-tier metamorphosis that doesn't appear in the wild, and gold Tokos from the post-game Vault of Tears. Gold Tokos offer up a ton of guilders and almost no experience, which, while not bad, isn't nearly as helpful in the post-game as heaps of experience.
Sounds pretty sweet, doesn't it? Your levelling woes are over? Not quite. Killing Tokos is not so simple as killing other enemies. The Toko line is both rare and skittish.
If you luck out and find one on the world map it will run, and it will run fast. Tokos can also be encountered by engaging other enemies from the same region in combat, though the chances of finding a Toko among their ranks are slim - and you have no chance of running into a magical two Tokos that way. Oooo, mass experience. Your best bet for hunting Tokos quickly is to combine the Veil spell, acquired from Horace in Perdida, with resetting the game. If you want you can wander the fields until a Toko appears, but if you restart and reload your game on the field you'll stand a good chance of seeing a Toko nearby.
Once you do, use Veil to mask your presence and rush the poor thing. You'll catch it off guard and get in a round of attacks before it can flee. Don't have Veil? It's still possible to catch a Toko by surprise, and you very much want to catch them by surprise. Simply stalk the Toko with caution. Watch which way it goes from a distance, not getting so close that you spook the beast.
Once it's facing the complete opposite direction you're coming from, dash up and catch it in the back. If you do accidentally spook a Toko, pull back and give it some room to breathe. You can't outrun these things, and they disappear if you freak them out for too long.
One way or another, you're now in a battle with a Toko, hopefully with a full round to attack without the Toko being able to react. You want to focus your strongest tricks on it immediately. Tokos don't have a ton of HP or high defenses, but they will evade almost every normal attack you throw at them.
User Info: thatsbrutal. Toko is on Ugly Duckling Island. It's the bottom of a cluster of Islands to the North, in between the two largest continents. User Info: findnofantarsea. Toko can be found on ugly duckling island.
One ofthe 3 small islands the one on the right north of Ding Dong Dell and you'll need a boat to get there! You can also find Mite, Lemurl and sprite on the same island as well. It's best to walk from one end of the island to another end and then turn back around, that way the enemy will respawn constantly. Every now and then you would see a toko on the world map and they'r pretty fast,, so kill them quick before they run away. It's best to bump into the normal enemy on the world map as well, sometimes the toko will appear with the mob.
Killing a toko will give you 2, Xp. If you can fly, you can find Tokotoko on Billy goat buff south and they usually appear in pairs and will net you 16,xp. How fast do you need to kill them?
Like are they like Metal Slimes in Dragon Quest fast? User Info: ssj5king. They're not that strong so hits should kill them if you focus on them from the start just sometimes they try to put you to sleep and run or just try to run away.
