Can you romance samara me2

Morinth belongs to the Ardat-Yakshi, a group of infertile Asari permanently incapable of producing offspring. The Asari are a single-sex life form, capable of producing offspring physically, and through a method of "mind-melding".

Mind-melding allows two individuals, to copulate or 'unite' on a level that transcends the physical and emotional limitations. Their minds literally 'become one' sharing a conscious-subconscious space where even their very being can be ascertained by one another.

Ardat-Yakshi carry the unfortunate circumstance of killing anyone they meld with. Morinth possesses the ability to consume any melding partner, thus adding their strength to her own and becoming increasingly powerful with every partner. You can speak with her there and choose options that allow you to learn about the Justicar code that she lives by.

However, the romance can only begin after successfully completing her loyalty mission , Samara: The Ardat-Yakshi. To get through it successfully, you need to choose to side with her instead of Morinth when the two Asari clash. Failing the mission or siding with Morinth will lock you out of her romance storyline permanently. Before you pick up Samara's Loyalty Mission, you can talk to her twice to learn more about her beliefs, how her Code works, and most notably "Romance and the Code".

These don't contribute to the Romance, but help a lot in understanding where Samara is coming from. After completing the Loyalty Mission and talking to Samara once, talk to her again and pick "Let's talk" to learn more about her past and progress your friendship. This is a minor stage but you must complete it to progress to the next stage.

For the second stage, pick "Let's talk" again, where you'll be able to pick "I want more". At this point you'll get your Morality check: if you have too many Renegade points, she'll automatically reject you based on your past actions. If she doesn't do this however, you can pick "I don't accept that" to try and convince her. You'll then want to pick "Everybody needs comfort", then "You need this, Samara". Samara will try for a kiss, but then hold herself back.

After this point, she'll leave for the Crew bunks room, and politely asks you let her be. While facing Morinth , Shepard has the option to side with the Ardat-Yakshi over Samara, which not only ends the opportunity to continue the attempt at romancing her, but Samara's life as well. Once Morinth is defeated, Samara becomes loyal to Shepard, and Shepard will have the opportunity to express interest in her during one of their many chats aboard the Normandy SR When Shepard proclaims romantic interest in Samara, she is delightfully intrigued, but hides behind the Justicar's Code.

Though the code does not prohibit romantic entanglements, Samara professes that it's important to her as an individual to focus on her work and maintaining the code. In her mind, a romantic pursuit would interfere with this, so she politely declines Shepard's advances. Through repeated conversations, Shepard can continue to express interest in hopes that Samara would give in. She almost did, but her will was incredibly strong.

Continually refusing the opportunity to explore something more does not deter a determined Shepard, however, and they almost won her over. However, a Shepard who acted dishonorably throughout the game, making questionable choices, did not peak Samara's interest at all.
